Shauna Correia joined Sondra Kaighen & Associates in June of 2008, having recently closed her own practice after 16 years so that she could devote more time to her family. Shauna brings variety to the firm in that she not only practices family law but also practices in the areas of criminal and juvenile defense in Houston, TX. She is well respected among her colleagues and peers as being an advocate for children and families. Shauna is on the Board of Directors for the Galveston County National Adoption Day Foundation and has spent the last five years helping organize the National Adoption Day event, which takes place each November.
Shauna has two beautiful girls. If she ever chooses to stop practicing law, she has plenty to keep her busy - her hobbies have varied from boat building to concert piano.
